Greetings,

I have a use-case where I would like to decrement/increment a resource counter via scripted pre/post execute scripts, but I don't see any examples on how to do that -- Is this currently possible?

This is not supported. You may consider the legacy resource concept as introduced here:

Alright, this is handy, but not quite what I need. I need something that is at the grid-level rather than the node-level -- Is this possible?
