QB2.0.3: Stopping a job does not kill the child process(es) #698

chatziparaskewas ·
Hi

In our setup (Windows), if I stop a job currently running an ant script, the associated java child process is not stopped, but continues a live without a parent process, blocking subsequent jobs (that is how I found out). Big question: How is the child process asked to stop (if at all)?

Regards
Alex

This is a limitation as stated in the user guide: http://wiki.pmease.com/display/qb2/Stop+Build+Forcibly
We will try to remove this limitation in a future version that is not far away.
