Hello.

I know that if I create a step and check the "Inheritable" box, it will be inherited. Is there a limit to the number of steps I can create in a single configuration? Also, is there a limit to the number of steps inherited from a created step? When modifying an inherited step and overriding it, is there a limit to the number of steps that will be overridden?

The only limit is steps defined in a configuration. Number of serialized bytes of all steps should not exceed 1M. This means many steps, but the actual number depends size of the step. Practically I never seen steps exceed this size on customer sites.
